Not a new venture — a publication that has served Indian congregations, in print, for nearly three decades.
Christian Folk is a registered publication (RNI 68075/97), published continuously since 1997 by Rev. B. Simon Paul from Hyderabad.
Pastors, evangelists, teachers, doctors and chartered accountants across India contribute the teaching and reporting you read here.
Every issue is built around the Word — teaching, testimony and counsel measured against what God has actually said.
Faith and family, work and money, health and church — the magazine speaks to the ordinary week, not only to Sunday.
Thinking Christianly about the questions the age is asking — technology, work and society.
12 articlesStewardship, giving, work and money handled the way Scripture teaches — including the legal and practical side of church finance.
11 articlesJustice, inclusion and the shared life of God's people.
5 articlesNews of what God is doing in congregations, schools and ministries across the nation.
5 articlesCareful, accessible teaching from the Word for pastors, teachers and everyday believers alike.
4 articlesPractical health writing from Christian doctors, for the whole family.
3 articlesThe convictions that decide what goes into the magazine — and what stays out.
We test teaching against the Word rather than against opinion or custom. Where the Bible speaks plainly, we say so; where believers differ in good faith, we say that too.
2 Timothy 3:16What we hold — money, land, ability, time — is entrusted, not earned outright. That conviction shapes how we write about work, giving and wealth.
Deuteronomy 8:18Ministry finance should bear daylight. We publish plainly on accounts, registration, governance and the legal duties that come with receiving an offering.
2 Corinthians 8:21The magazine belongs to congregations across India, in many languages and traditions. We report the work of the wider church, not one corner of it.
